Community in the Vineyards: A Unique Idaho Experience
By Monica Pierce
Imagine endless views of vibrant green grape vines sprawling across rolling hills, brushed with a cool breeze cutting through the warm summer air. For a moment you might think you’re sitting on the porch of a tasting room in Napa Valley.
But you’re at 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards, nestled in Idaho’s Eagle Foothills. Just thirty minutes from Meridian, this charming winery feels worlds away from it all.
3HRV is one of ten vineyards operating in the Eagle Foothills American Viticulture Area (AVA), and is currently the only one with a winery and tasting room open to the public.
Martha Cunningham, who owns 3HRV describes the unique experience that Treasure Valley locals and visitors can expect when they spend an afternoon enjoying 3HRV’s Idaho wines.
