Growing Meridian’s Footprint and Making a Little Smoke

The atmosphere relaxes you as if the room could hug. The aroma intoxicates with a sweet-burning warmness, a richness only cigars carry. You’ve entered the nostalgic cigar shop, The Vault, in downtown Meridian, once an event center, and, before that, a bank. Today, it houses a cigar lounge, including classes and tips from the owner, Josh Evarts.
Josh, a quiet guy, relaxes here, in this haven he envisioned in 2016, puffing a cigar with his wife, Lori.
This is his ideal.
With every image, though, there exists a contrast, and Josh, despite his peaceful nature, has created quite a stir in Meridian. Shaken the earth a bit, if you will. In a good way.
